Ivy’s Garden is out to prove that Gluten-free Chinese food is delicious! They have proven that to me thus far. I tried their Lemon Chicken this week. It was really good… Ivy’s Garden recipes are based on years of family testing, according to her website. I believe it.
I found all white chicken meat with a Gluten-free breaded coating in the tray with a delicious lemon sauce. In one compartment of the tray was garlic broccoli to add to the mix, it was perfect and not soggy as may find in other meals that are frozen. The flavor of the chicken is so good; texture of the breading was nice and crunchy right out of my oven. When I added the broccoli and lemon sauce… I could smell the amazing lemon and garlic. This made my stomach growl. I did not have to add any thing to season or add extra flavor. It was on point! Perfection.
I have tried the Sweet and Sour Chicken from Ivy’s Garden also. I love both. However if someone asked, I can’t say yet which is my favorite. I make Chinese food at home sometimes and have recipes in my Gluten Free Lifestyle Series cookbook, but it is nice on days when I have little time to prepare meals to have wonderful Gluten-free authentic Chinese food! Meals for two in one tray means I can share with my loved ones! Family style meals just add rice and you get a quick easy authentic Chinese meal at home.
I eat Gluten-free because I have Celiac and Hashimoto Thyroiditis. These are genetic autoimmune disorders. There is no cure currently and both medically require a Gluten-free Diet for life. Eating Gluten-free is not a fad for 1 in 133 people! If you believe you may benefit from a Gluten-free Diet, talk to your doctor and ask to get a test for Celiac Disease before switching diets.

This post is my opinion and not a paid or sponsored post. I was sent Gluten-free samples to try. They were delicious and I recommend Ivy’s Garden if you have not tried them yet!
